I enjoyed following Elsie and her family on their adventures with Grandma Elsie. I am eager to read the next in the series.
Here is a wealthy family trying to figure out what to do for others for christmas. It is a good storyline but very hard to relate to in this struggling economy. The rest of their days are filled with parties and sleigh rides another element hard to relate to.
First, I love the fact that I was able to download this using my app for FREE! I've read several reviews for this book that said it was 'too preachy' or 'too much religious dogma'. This book contains many scriptures, but everything written comes straight from the Bible. I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely Christmas story! Although it is fiction, it goes to show that families can be close and adults and children alike can chose to act/think/speak the right things, according to what the Lord would be pleased with. Again, I found this to be a lovely Christmas story that touches the heart!
I feel this story was a great insight into the lives of the wealthy of the time period. It also gave the reader a glimpse of a loving fathers relationship with his children
This is a very good story that I enjoyed. It’s clever, interesting, and very appropriate for children to read today.

I liked it because it told of the families ways, values, and how they taught the next generation .
