Almost as long as it took her to go back and write a second story it took me to read it. Not because of the appealing nature but because the copy i purchased was on Kindle. I take too long on Kindle books. Refuge picks up from the original story and shows how dragonkind hid for so long fro. man. it also develops the characters of the book showing the devotion Between Jon and Kay but adds another character into their lives. it is their fulfillment as ambassadors to change the world and make peace. A great cliffhanger again leaving fans to read the next story. When Carrie has time to visit again. Until then safe flight, and I hope that Kay is having fun learning to fly.

Loved it
This book was amazing I highly suggest it it was a story about lobe hate and friendship IT WAS GREAT
this book picks right up where Voices of Dragons left off. The writing and the story line were all that I have waited for!
Another great one by Carrie Vaughn!!!!!
There be dragons, if only I could soar on the back of one. Carrie does a wonderful job conveying the thrill of flight, the difficulty keeping Dracoplis hidden, and dealing with a new world. Wonderful writing and wonderful story.
Not as good as the first in the series "Voices of Dragons", but ok for a reader looking for a continuation of the story.
"Refuge of Dragons" is the immediate sequel to "Talking to Dragons", taking over where the first book left off. Carrie Vaughn delivers high-quality writing and finishes the story in a satisfactory manner. It's a short book, and absolutely worth what it will cost you for your ebook reader. Besides, you absolutely have to find out what happens next!
